Determined to give his new patient the life she deserves, Micah turns to Lucan Bloodstone, the town’s rugged half-giant blacksmith. Together, they begin crafting prosthetic wings, spending long hours in Lucan’s forge as sparks—and attraction—fly between them.
But teaching a dragon to fly is only half the challenge. As Micah and Lucan grow closer, they’ll have to decide whether they’re brave enough to risk their hearts, too.
